Casa Mente – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings with Casa Mente. By booking a retreat or service, you agree to these terms.

1. DEFINITIONS

“Casa Mente”, “we”, “our”, “us” refer to the team and company hosting the retreats.
“You”, “your”, “guest”, “participant” refer to any individual booking, purchasing, or attending an experience. “Retreat” refers to the full Casa Mente experience, including accommodation, meals, classes, and curated activities.

2. BOOKINGS, PAYMENTS & DEPOSIT

A booking is confirmed upon receipt of full payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payments via Vipps, Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro), and Klarna. Should you prefer to secure your room with a deposit, this must be arranged directly with Casa Mente in writing (via email or WhatsApp). All deposits are strictly non-refundable, and the remaining balance must be settled no later than the date provided in your booking confirmation. All payments are final and non-refundable.

3. Right of Withdrawal

According to the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (Angrerettloven) §22 (m), the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to services related to leisure activities when the agreement specifies a particular date or period of performance. By booking a Casa Mente retreat with fixed dates, you acknowledge and accept that this exemption applies.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

All payments are final and non-refundable. By confirming your booking, you acknowledge that Casa Mente incurs significant upfront costs in preparing your retreat experience. If you are unable to attend, your booking may be transferred to another participant upon written request and approval by Casa Mente.

5. PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITY

You confirm that you are mentally, emotionally, and physically able to participate. Participation is at your own risk.

6. INSURANCE & TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

You are solely responsible for arranging personal travel insurance, valid passport, visas, and health documents required for travel.

7. LIABILITY WAIVER

Your experience is our priority. Casa Mente may capture photos and videos to share the retreat’s atmosphere, but each guest’s privacy will always be respected. You can confirm or opt out of media usage in writing before the retreat.

8. CONDUCT & COMMUNITY

We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful to the retreat experience.

9. MEDIA USAGE

By attending, you agree that Casa Mente may use photos and videos from the retreat for promotional purposes. You may opt out in writing prior to the retreat.

10. FORCE MAJEURE

Casa Mente is not liable for changes or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather events, pandemics or strikes.

11. Complaints & Dispute Resolution

Any complaints must be submitted in writing to Casa Mente at contact@casa-mente.com within 14 days of the end of the retreat. Disputes shall be governed by Norwegian law and handled by Oslo District Court, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.

12. PROGRAM MODIFICATIONS

Casa Mente reserves the right to adjust the schedule, instructors, or content of the retreat. All updates will be communicated in advance.

Golden Giveaway – Official Terms

Your chance to win a luxury retreat for two – valid only for the Casa Mente Retreat in France, taking place in 2026.

1. OVERVIEW

By purchasing a “Golden Giveaway Ticket”, you enter a random drawing to win one retreat experience for two people at the Casa Mente Retreat 2026 in France.

2. TICKET PRICE & REFUND POLICY

Each Golden Giveaway Ticket costs €20. Tickets are non-refundable and valid only for entry into the 2026 giveaway.

3. ELIGIBILITY

You must be 18 years or older to enter. No residency restriction applies unless prohibited by your local law.

4. WINNERS & PRIZES

One winner will be randomly selected to receive a Casa Mente retreat experience for two people, including a four-night stay in a beautifully designed double room, daily fine dining prepared with seasonal ingredients, immersive wellness practices and movement sessions, and a curated Casa Mente goodie bag. This prize offers a complete journey of balance and renewal, while flights, insurance, and personal expenses are not included.

5. CONFIRMATION & TRANSFERABILITY

Winners will be contacted via email and must confirm participation within 3 days. Tickets can be transferred to another person, but only with prior written approval from Casa Mente.

6. TRANSPARENCY

The proceeds of the giveaway are intended to transparently cover the value of the retreat spot being gifted.

7. DISQUALIFICATION

Casa Mente reserves the right to disqualify any entry found to be fraudulent, misleading, or in violation of these Terms.

8. MINIMUM PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT

The Golden Giveaway winner will be announced on November 1, 2025. The retreat will take place in France in 2026, with exact dates shared by Casa Mente in due course.
