Summit to Sea
Summit to Sea is a guided ski-touring stay on Brakøya, with the island as a base for the mountains around Raftsundet. Each morning, private mountain guides read the snow, weather and light and choose the day’s objective, with the boat opening access to terrain across the sound when conditions favour it. Tours rise from shoreline towards summit before long descents return to the fjord.
4 NIGHTS / 5 DAYS · FROM FEBRUARY TO APRIL 2027
Sample Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival by boat. The island emerges from the fjord. A first gathering around the fire, dinner at the long table, the beginning of winter’s slower rhythm.
Day 2
A first ascent with your mountain guide, moving steadily through the snow with the sea below. Lunch outdoors before the descent and return to the island, where the sauna and dinner await.
Day 3
A quieter day between tours. Cold water and the warmth of the bathhouse, with long hours for reading, conversation and rest.
Day 4
A second day in the mountains, guided by weather and light. Long descents towards the shoreline. The return by boat. An evening gathered around the table.
Day 5
Breakfast overlooking the fjord. A final walk before departure by boat.
Between Tours
Back on Brakøya, the pace changes. Skis give way to the bathhouse, sauna and cold sea, followed by dinner around the long table. The wood-fired hot tub and time by the fire leave room for recovery between tours.

A Château to Call Home
From May to October
In the Landes of South-West France, A Château to Call Home takes place at an eighteenth-century estate whose history reaches back almost a thousand years. Here, the distinction is not simply privacy, but the freedom to inhabit the château as a home: practice in one room, coffee on the steps, lunch in the garden, a swim between sessions, dinner in the rotunda.
PERSONALISED RETREATS
PERSONALISED RETREAT
PERSONALISED RETREAT
PERSONALISED RETREAT
Pilates retreats, yoga immersions and teacher-led stays place a discipline at the centre of the estate. Sessions move between the dedicated practice space and the grounds when appropriate, with the hours between them left open.
For retreats centred on food and wine, the kitchen and cellar become the subject of the stay. Cooking and tasting draw on the produce and culinary traditions of South-West France, with each day moving between kitchen, cellar and table.
Meditation, breathwork and restorative stays give greater weight to quiet. Sessions deepen across the retreat, while the house and grounds allow stillness to continue beyond them.
