An adventure is the meeting with a place on its own terms. Some landscapes ask to be moved through rather than rested in, their character held in the climb, the descent, the long day spent inside them. The House makes the meeting possible, the guides, the hours, the return at the end of it, and the place gives the day its shape and its demand. What is found this way belongs to where it happened, and stays there.
