These terms govern your use of the Casa Mente website at casa-mente.com (the "site"), operated by Mente Projects AS. By using the site, you agree to these terms. The purchase of a gift card is governed by the separate Gift Card Terms & Conditions, and your personal data by the Privacy Policy.
1. The operator
Casa Mente is a brand of Mente Projects AS, organisation number 933 665 267, Kirkeveien 51, 0368 Oslo, Norway. References to "Casa Mente", "we", and "us" mean Mente Projects AS, unless stated otherwise.
2. What the site is
The site presents Casa Mente's destinations and experiences, for private groups and for individual guests. It is provided for information. Experiences are not sold or booked through the site.
3. Enquiries are not bookings
An enquiry made through the site is an expression of interest. It is not an offer, a reservation, or a confirmed booking, and it places no obligation on either side. Experiences are arranged individually with Casa Mente, and any booking is made under a separate agreement entered into directly between you and Casa Mente. Price, payment, and cancellation are set in that agreement, not on the site.
4. Gift cards
Casa Mente gift cards are sold through the site and are governed by the separate Gift Card Terms & Conditions.
5. Intellectual property
The site and its content — including text, images, film, design, the "Casa Mente" name, and the Casa Mente concept and experience format — are owned by Mente Projects AS or its licensors and are protected by law. You may view and share site content for personal, non-commercial use with attribution to Casa Mente. Any other use — including commercial use, reproduction, or replication of the concept or format — requires our written permission.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use the site lawfully, and not to misuse it, disrupt it, attempt unauthorised access, or use it in any way that could harm the site or other users.
7. Accuracy and availability
Site content is provided in good faith for general information. Descriptions and imagery are illustrative and may change. We do not warrant that the content is complete, current, or error-free, and the site may be changed, suspended, or unavailable at any time.
8. Links to other sites
The site may link to third-party sites. Such links are not endorsements, and we are not responsible for the content or practices of sites we do not control.
9. Privacy
We handle personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or affects the mandatory rights of a consumer.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you use the site applies.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. For a consumer, this does not remove the mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence, and a consumer may bring a complaint to Forbrukertilsynet (the Norwegian Consumer Authority) and, where it remains unresolved, to Forbrukerklageutvalget (the Norwegian Consumer Disputes Commission).
For other users, disputes are subject to the ordinary Norwegian courts, with Oslo tingrett (Oslo District Court) as legal venue.
