THE SIGNATURE EDITION
A classical Pilates retreat in
Bordeaux, France
3-7 MAY 2026
Held within a private château in the Bordeaux countryside, The Signature Edition spans five days of classical Pilates, seasonal dining, and measured pace.
Guest numbers are limited to preserve quality of instruction and atmosphere. The retreat is structured as an integrated program where practice, setting, and schedule align.

THE HOUSE
IN SEASON
The house establishes the rhythm of each day. Mornings begin with guided classical Pilates in the château, followed by breakfast prepared on site using seasonal produce.
Afternoons remain open. Time may be spent by the pool, on the tennis court, riding through the estate grounds, exploring nearby villages, booking treatments, or resting indoors. Space between sessions allows for recovery and quiet.
Evenings gather around the table. Dinner is served in the dining room or outdoors, depending on weather, with wine selected to complement the menu. Each day closes in continuity with the pace of the house.

A DAY BY THE ATLANTIC
Midweek, the program extends beyond the estate. Travel to the Atlantic coast is integrated into the schedule, including lunch overlooking the sea and time to experience the landscape, swim, or remain by the shoreline.
Return to the château follows in the evening.
THE GALA
One evening is dedicated to a formal dinner within the grounds of the château. A vintage car procession through the estate precedes a multi-course candlelit dinner paired by our sommelier.
The gathering reflects the seasonal character of Casa Mente, held within the same measured cadence as the days preceding it.

THE PRACTICE
The retreat is led by classical Pilates educator Ashlea McKee. Two sessions are held daily, rooted in classical lineage and technical precision.
Instruction is delivered with clarity and depth, accommodating experienced practitioners and committed beginners within a cohesive group setting.
THE TABLE
The table is led by private chef Jacinta Collet. Menus are developed according to seasonal sourcing and prepared on site throughout the stay.
Meals are composed to sustain clarity and steady energy across the day, with attention to balance, digestion, and timing. The progression of each menu follows the rhythm of practice and rest, supporting both movement and recovery without excess.
The approach to food is considered and quiet, aligned with the cadence of the house.

THE ROOMS
The château offers seven en-suite bedrooms, featuring either queen or king beds, with private and shared occupancy options available. Rooms are allocated upon booking.
